To all customers of MRM Archery - Covid-19:

Whilst we have now reached a stage where all the legal restrictions relating to COVID-19 protective measures at a national level in Scotland have been lifted we should remember that COVID-19 has not gone away and it remains important that we continue to take sensible precautions to keep ourselves and each other safe.  If you have symptoms of COVID-19  it is important to consider isolating yourself.  The safety of our customers, staff and the community continues to be of the utmost importance to us. We thank you for your understanding.

Archery in Scotland

Archery in Scotland can be enjoyed by almost everybody whether they are able-bodied, or have a disability, although clients with particular needs should contact MRM Archery in advance to discuss their requirements. We are experienced in teaching people with a range of physical and learning disabilities and sensory impairment. People of all ages can try archery although we have a minimum age of approx. 12 years old for our beginners courses.

We are a mobile business and can support you at your own venue, a venue of your choice or provide you with one of three fantastic venues in Central Scotland - they are all within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Whilst we provide archery in Scotland we will also travel throughout the UK. We provide all the archery equipment needed eg targets, bows, arrows etc. In addition to providing a full safety briefing, archery instruction and tuition we will undertake a risk assessment of your venue and provide you with a full written report.

Archery Classes & Lessons

Our archery classes and lessons are fun sessions which last approximately 1 hour. They are provided at our own venues, or a suitable and safe venue of your choice, and are specifically aimed at those who have little or no experience in archery. At our classes you will learn about the equipment we use and the basics of how to shoot a bow safely and effectively - you will be surprised by how quickly you will hit the target. Our classes can add a real fun element and challenge to corporate events, school activities, children's parties and stag and hen parties. In partnership with the venues we work with we can put together a package of various activities for your group - just contact us and we can discuss what's on offer.

Classes can be purchased directly through our on-line shop.

Individual Coaching

Having competed at International level ourselves we are eager to help other archers achieve the knowledge, experience and success which we have achieved. No matter how long you have been shooting a dedicated Coach can help guide and inspire you to greater scores and success. Why not give us a try?
Our individual coaching will focus on improving your shooting technique, designing a robust shooting plan, addressing obstacles which prevent higher scores, goal setting, body alignment and in depth equipment tuning.

Contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Archery Courses

Beginners Course: If you want to learn more about archery then our beginners course is for you. Our beginners course runs over three consecutive weeks and lasts for approximately one and a half hours each week. The course will cover a range of topics such as safety, archery technique, equipment and scoring. If you would like to join an archery club you will be required to go through a beginners course before applying for membership.  On satisfactory completion of our beginners course you will receive a certificate which can help facilitate your membership of a local archery club. We have a minimum age of approx.12 years old for our beginners courses as most archery clubs do not accept young people under the age of 12. Please note that we cannot guarantee membership of any archery club as that will depend on whether the club has membership available at the time of your request.

Beginners courses can be purchased directly through our on-line shop.

Archery GB Instructor Course:  We are accredited by Archery GB to run the Archery GB Instructor Award Course which is specifically for people wishing to teach archery at activity centres, leisure centres, to community groups etc.

Contact us for further details.

We are fully committed to providing our clients with the best possible, and the safest, archery experience available on the market at an affordable price. We fully comply with the most rigorous safety standards, based on the guidelines approved by both Archery GB and Scottish Archery.

We have a strong focus on Child Protection matters and have embedded this within our business philosophy. We provide the safest possible environment for children, young people and vulnerable groups.
